To contribute to solving social issues and achieving a more sustainable world, Fujifilm is expanding its business in three segments: Healthcare, Electronics, and Imaging.
In the Healthcare segment, our initiatives toward addressing unmet medical needs and expanding access to medical care help create a healthier society through improved prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Fujifilm’s medical systems are focused on creating new value and problem solving, leveraging our strengths in AI and IT technology and our diverse product lineup. Additionally, we are sharing Japan’s health-centric culture to the world by expanding NURA health checkup centers, particularly in emerging countries. In the field of life sciences, our Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) for biopharmaceuticals is, under the “Partners for Life” strategy, supporting the stable supply of high-quality biopharmaceuticals, manufacturing gene and cell therapy drugs, and supporting the creation and supply of cutting-edge therapeutics.
In the Imaging segment, we offer a range of photography products and services, from high-end mirrorless digital cameras to printing services and instant photo systems that allow users to print photos on the spot. We also provide products and services utilizing our videography technology and expertise, such as broadcast and cinema lenses, long-range multipurpose cameras, and projectors. We contribute to a prosperous society by providing valuable products and services that make use of the power of photographs and video to enhance communication.
As the Fujifilm Group marks its 90th anniversary year in 2024, we have established a new Group Purpose, “Giving our world more smiles.” We will continue to give our world more smiles by providing innovative value through the combination of our strengths in technology with the skills, passion, and wisdom of our diverse and talented workforce.

1934 | January: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd., established, based on a government plan to establish a domestic photographic film manufacturing industry. The new company inherited the split-off photographic film operations of Dainippon Celluloid Company Limited. |
